12.2003-2.2006 - Curated the "Crazy Record Store Department" (and other departments) in Thor Zimmermann's "Art & Musicstore & Generalstore", Cologne - see: www.gemischtwaren.com
hello and welcome to participate! i am happy to announce - that my pet project - the "crrrazy record store" - will now be realized in a different style! there will be a permanent music department included in the concept of thor zimmermann-s new gallery & generalstore that opend up in cologne - ehrenfeld. the music/gallery/generalstore will feature f.e. all kinds of visual art, music, poetry, books, multiples, dvd-s, videos, special editions, comiX, food non food department, fashion, kid-s stuff, other items as well local and international specialities. furthermore you can enjoy hanging out there, have a relaxed coffee and listen to all present music, skip through inspiring books, magazines, have inspiring talks.... there will be a special event/gallery/music program as well - see the website or sign up the store mailing list for the special news and the invitations for all special events if you are interested in f.e. gigs/live sets that are not too loud or unplugged - please contact thor zimmermann for further arrangements. and at: www.gemischtwaren.com - all items in the store will be represented as well online under "crrrazy record store" (and all the other departments) it-s possible to order any item from the store catalogue via internet - worldwide of course! click on the little flag on the right hand side for the english version! by clicking on the items, pictures, you get to pages with more texts, information about each article! please take along/send in your musical material (declared as promotional material, and sorry, we cannot cover the postage fees) included your pricelist and your photos, texts, link/s to : thor zimmermann welcome is: cd-s, vinyls, tapes, video-footage, dvd-s, posters, books, t-shirts/fashion, magazines and special music editions of all kinds - please include a priceslist - (the store takes/adds a moderate % age per item) and all material will be sold in consignement (for rare exceptions and /or other conditions - please contact me or thor) as the store has only limited storage capacities, it is completely convinient to start with a small number of copies per item, f.e. 5 to 10 copies ... the idea is to have an highly inspiring wide range of worldwide unique and inspiring "crrrazy" music presented there - all genres welcome! beat, garage, jazz, rock n roll, blues, classix, improvised music, music and poetry, punk, reggae, electronix, folk, sing a songwriter, worldmusic, whatever core... and all 100s of possible genres already existing and to be thought up in the future... for all other departments - if you are interested in participating - welcome! please contact the store about it.
